Create a Ghost With @CarlianneCreates

I love an art challenge, and I love a ghostie.  And I love Carlianne Creates.  Carlianne is a brilliant artist who posts lots of tips and tutorials, and this one just completely won me over.

So I had to do it.  I did it on the last page of a sketchbook, and I recorded myself.  So as well as some art, there's a lot of rambling and mumbling.  Enjoy.

And check out my new YouTube channel!  I won't be doing fancy long videos or anything, but it's somewhere to put things that I do make.

Here are the finished ghosties.

In my video I mention that I don't usually complete pieces with traditional art.  Normally I will sketch traditionally, then transfer the sketch to my iPad and create a finished piece digitally.  So I did that too.

The Procreate time-lapse video doesn't really show much of the process because it just shows the canvas, so I used the screen record function of my iPad for the first time.  And then I added a nice rambling voice over, especially for you guys. 

I had a great time doing these little ghosties, and the temptation to do even more was very strong.  I really need to get round to actually joining Carlianne's Creative Hub - maybe that can be a goal for 2025.
